Ameer Luay | Pharmacy

Hey there! My name is Ameer Luay, I’m a pharmacy student at AUIB, I joined auib in 2022, I got accepted on a scholarship by the college of Pharmacy, my success story begins as any other success story usually starts, which is by failure, the transition from high school to college was in a way difficult as it was a new environment I did not know anything about, however, with all the opportunities provided to me at AUIB, I managed to rise as a leader amongst my peers, I became the chairman of student activities board (SAB) in 2023 and led a team of students to manage all the activities organized by students on campus.

My success as a student in AUIB wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the exceptional people around me, starting from the dean of college of pharmacy, Dr. acharf Alfaraj, who believed me ever since the first moment I joined AUIB, and gave me all the opportunities to excel academically, furthermore, the support provided to me by the office of student affairs, especially Dr. jaye jelena zivokivic at the office of student life, who gave me constant support and taught wonderful lessons in leadership, what makes our university special, is that students are surrounded by exceptional people from all around the world who take the roles of mentors to build a generation of leaders to build a great nation.
