Career Prosperity Division
The Career Prosperity Division (CPD) focuses on unlocking professional potential. This division delivers career development programs shaped by global expertise and local market insight, equipping individuals with the skills, direction, and confidence needed to grow, adapt, and succeed in a competitive environment.
Who can benefit from this division?
Distinct from the Executive Education Division, the CPD provides course rollouts on a quarterly calendar. Interested professionals can join in training activities ranging from one hour to over 30 hours, awarding different types of certifications. These courses are measured by Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that build up into a professional certificate or a professional diploma. This alignment with the work of the Executive Education Division is where both divisions meet.
Therefore, the CPD serves as a trusted continuing education entity in Iraq—a gateway for professionals to access the most updated information at a relaxed, on-need pace.
How do we design the courses?
B2C:
We are here to help professionals thrive in their careers. We develop our courses to meet our “pracademic” pedagogical approach, mixing academic knowledge with market practices while benefiting from the years of global experience our experts possess.
Scheduling is a priority; we ensure our training activities take place at the most suitable times possible. This includes after-office hours, evening courses, Saturdays, and occasionally weekends. We also appreciate personal time, so no training is scheduled on Fridays unless necessary.
B2B:
Corporates seeking to develop the skills of their employees—including our government partners, the private sector, and NGOs—reach out to us to empower their workforce. They typically select a course from our public calendar offerings, a specific topic from our catalog, or a custom subject based on their unique working needs.
The journey starts when a client reaches out to their point of contact within the CEID, whether that is Corporate Relations, Marketing & Sales, Business Development, or the Project Management Office. Our Business Development team then holds a specialized meeting with you to discuss your specific goals and development areas.
From there, the customization journey begins. Depending on the topic, this may range from a simple Training Needs Assessment (TNA) survey to a collaborative workshop used to develop the course outline. Please note that if the course is for an International Certificate, the content remains fixed; in these cases, we only require basic participant information to ensure our experts can tailor the real-world examples to your industry.
Once needs are fully assessed:
- The team sends a Technical and Financial Proposal for client approval.
- Upon approval, the expert instructor is secured, and the training schedule is finalized.
- These activities follow an intensive assessment approach, including pre-tests, quizzes, and a final exam to ensure knowledge transfer.
- A comprehensive final report is delivered to the client at the end of the course to document progress and results.
Who are our experts?
We work with a wide range of national, regional, and international experts registered in our Pool of Experts (Join us here). We also partner with the American University of Iraq, Baghdad (AUIB) colleges. This collaboration ensures our curricula meet rigorous accreditation standards while remaining agile enough to address the rapidly evolving needs of the global landscape.
Training Options, Certifications, and Credit System
To accommodate busy professionals while meeting their educational needs, we offer the following training options based on a credit system where every 10 hours equal one CEU. You may accumulate CEUs to advance your knowledge, concluding with a Professional Certificate (12 CEUs) or a Professional Diploma (24 CEUs).
Our credits are calculated in Continuing Education Units (CEUs) where every 10 hours one CEU equals. You may accumulate the CEUs to advance your level of knowledge and conclude with a Professional certificate (12 CEUs) or a professional diploma (24 CEUs).
Webinars
Online training activities usually range from one to three hours. These aim to introduce concepts, industry updates, or new product launches. These award a Certificate of Attendance with zero CEUs (though certificates are not always awarded). Delivery is typically one-way, with the expert as the primary source of information. And this activity awards a Certificate of Attendance with zero CEUs, yet the certificates are not always awarded. This is usually one way delivery where the expert is the only source of information.
Seminars
Like webinars but in an in-person setting. We prefer seminars when the goal includes networking, as we highly value professional connection. These award a Certificate of Attendance with zero CEUs in many cases.
Workshops
Highly interactive training activities exceeding 10 hours. These can be online, in-person, or hybrid. Workshops award a minimum of one CEU and a Certificate of Participation. Participants are registered in the Student Information System (SIS) of the CEID.
Courses
A “Course” is the qualifier for a Certificate of Completion. It consists of a minimum of 30 training hours (3 CEUs), providing a large volume of information with opportunities for classroom practice, quizzes, tests, and assessments. Attendance is mandatory, homework is assigned, and participants are registered in the SIS.
This table demonstrates the above:
