Scholarships are awarded based on outstanding academic achievement. There are numerous awards from AUIB and external sources each year for new and continuing students who are eligible to apply.

Ministry Free Scholarship

A free scholarship offered for students in medical fields. Applications should be submitted through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research portal if the student’s high school degree qualifies for the scholarship. Detailed steps and eligibility of applying to this scholarship is mentioned in the Student Guide, must have had a minimum applying average per Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research qualification criteria for each Academic Year.

The Ministry Martyrs Channel 50%

A discount of 50% on tuition is offered for all student applying through the Martyr Channel. The application is submitted through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research portal that provides clear instructions on how to process the application. Detailed steps and eligibility of applying to this scholarship is mentioned in the Student Guide. The 50% waiver is applied on the tuitions fees only and not covering annual and admission fees.

Study in Iraq for Non-Iraqi Students

The “Study in Iraq” program is open to international and Arab students. With fully funded, half-funded, and private expense scholarships available, this is an opportunity to study at the leading AUIB colleges. Covering a range of fields, AUIB covers tuition and fees. Application, terms, and details are processed through the Study In Iraq portal.

AUIB Merit-Need Scholarship

This Scholarship is based on student financial need and high school average score (80% minimum). Awardees are provided with a full scholarship including the ELA tuition.

The Martyrs Appreciation offered by AUIB

The MOHESR policy instructs that student are eligible for a 50% tuition discount if have an approved certificate and are eligible for the Martyr channel. AUIB offered those students another 50% discount on their tuition, resulting in a full (100%) tuition discount.
