Lowering the cost of educational opportunities for individuals who wish to continue their studies in engineering at AUIB, including covering the costs of tuition and accommodation. This aims to encourage gender inclusion in the engineering industry and promote equity, equality and cooperation.

Type of Scholarship: International Scholarship from Grant

Number: Up to 60 scholarships

Distribution:
College of Engineering programs: Computer and AI Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petrol Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management

Value: Varies.
covering 100% tuition and fees
covering 50% tuition and fees

Term: Entrance award (renewable for a second year while maintaining eligibility). Awards are based on scholastic merit and will be distributed across all five engineering programs in the college of engineering.

Eligibility

Gender Requirement:

• Applicants must be female.

Nationality:

• Must be an Iraqi citizen.

Education Background:

• Completed high school with a strong academic record qualifying for Engineering programs.
• Minimum high school Grade qualifying for the desired engineering program.
• Must be a ‘day-time’ student.
• The student must select their desired study program and university choices as per the application form and adhere to the sequence of grades and choices specified.

How to Apply

• Complete the AUIB Scholarship Application

Documents to Submit:

• Completed online interest form and then hardcopy application form.

Commitment:

• Agree to enroll full-time in an engineering program at AUIB and maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout the duration of the scholarship.

Selection Process

• Confirmation of applicant’s selection of AUIB within the MoHESR portal. And confirm admission to AUIB College of Engineering.
• All the information contained in each application will be reviewed and verified.
• Once the application is accepted, the Scholarship Committee will review applications determining the selected candidates based on academic performance.
• Recipients will then be notified by phone and email.
