On April 21, 2022, the continuing education institute CEI at the American University of Iraq- Baghdad AUIB announces becoming the first academic partner to the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants EC-Council in Iraq. This partnership with the leading American institution in cybersecurity training and certification takes place amid an exponentially increasing demand for technical education and work skills development that the CEI is scaling up by providing local individuals and organizations with global access to international certification and assessment.
EC- Council Academia within CEI will be offering specialized training on all Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics training courses covering all the theoretical and practical content of the NDE, EHE, DFE, CPENT, CTIA, CBP, CCISO, ECSA, EDRP, ECES, ECIH, and CEH with its specialized high-tech training laboratories and highly qualified experts.
Going forward with this partnership, the American University of Iraq Baghdad Continuing Education Institute achieved:
- Supporting the Prime Minister’s Office cyber security initiative to launch a 2-year higher diploma program that is equivalent to a master’s degree in science.
- Ranking AUIB as the first university to become an EC council academic partner in Iraq.
- Having a complete crew of EC-Council licensed instructors.
- Completing the fully equipped EC-Council training labs in Iraq.
