The Center for Research and Development (CRD) at the American University of Iraq-Baghdad (AUIB) organized a seminar on “Modern Dramatic Literature: A View Into Complexity,” where Dr. Saad Al Hasani, a prominent Professor of English Literature and Head of the English Department at the College of Arts at Al-Esraa University, gave a presentation on the subject and engaged the audience in a lively discussion.

AUIB members of faculty and students of English literature in attendance actively participated in the discussion that shed light on the interconnected rhetorical, psychological, sociological, and historical themes that are the subject matter of dramatic literature.

The event came as part of CRD’s continued efforts to enhance scholarly cooperation with concerned institutions and individuals, and to present its work through conferences, seminars, workshops, and publications.
