The College of Pharmacy at the American University of Iraq-Baghdad (AUIB), in collaboration with AUIB’s Continuing Education Institute, organized a two-day workshop on the “Essentials of Clinical Pharmacy”, led by international expert in clinical pharmacy, Professor Rozafa Koliqi.
The aim of the workshop was to develop pharmacists’, medical doctors’, healthcare professionals’, and senior pharmacy students’ understanding of the evolving daily services of community and clinical pharmacy, and develop their skills in communication, patient counselling, essential medicines and rational drug use, medication errors prevention, and pharmacovigilance.
