William Gallagher

Bill Gallagher is the Director of Enrollment Services.  He began his academic career at New York University Abu Dhabi as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Operations and Administration during its start-up years. Later, he was the founding Dean for five new vocational colleges in Saudi Arabia; the Dean of Valley Forge College; and the President/CEO of two private elementary/secondary prep schools in the United States. He also served as the chief of staff leading the international organization monitoring the peace agreement ending the civil war in South Sudan. A decorated combat veteran, he spent 28 years as a US Army officer, retiring as a colonel, prior to his academic career.

Mr. Gallagher has extensive experience in managing enrollment and registration processes, developing innovative strategies to achieve institutional goals. His related academic experience includes institutional strategy development, accreditation management, and executive supervisory responsibilities of all support staff functions. He also served on the faculty at West Point and the Harvard Kennedy School.

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, his education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point; a Master’s Degree in Leader Development as a Dwight D. Eisenhower Fellow, also from West Point; a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Long Island University; and a national security research fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School. He is all-but-dissertation for an Ed.D through the University of Liverpool.
