Dr. Tamer A. Awad
Associate Professor of Marketing
Dr. Tamer has over 20 years of academic leadership experience in the Middle East. He has served as Vice President for Academic Accreditation at the International Institute of Marketing Professionals, Canada.
Dr. Awad holds a Ph.D. from Nottingham Trent University (UK) and a diploma in Research Methodology. His research focuses on consumer behavior and digital marketing, particularly in mobile platforms and social media engagement. His scholarly contributions have been recognized internationally, including the Outstanding Research Award from the Institute for Business and Finance Research (2010) and the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Business Sciences, Cairo University (2018). Dr. Awad is a reviewer for leading marketing journals and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
He has taught across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervising over 100 theses. Dr. Awad is actively involved in curriculum development and accreditation processes. He also consults for organizations in the MENA region and UK, specializing in telecommunications, retail, FMCG, healthcare, and banking sectors.
