Dr. Munther S. Alnajjar
Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy
Before joining AUIB, Dr. Munther served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Madaba (AUM) in Jordan, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening academic programs and fostering institutional growth.
Dr. Munther began his professional journey as a Hospital Pharmacist at one of Jordan’s leading medical institutions. He later earned his master’s degree in clinical pharmacy from the University of Jordan and advanced to senior roles as a Clinical Pharmacist and Drug Information Specialist at major teaching hospitals in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, gaining extensive experience in clinical practice and drug information management.
In 2015, he earned his PhD in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice from Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom. His doctoral research, “Combating Antibiotic Resistance in Clinical Practice – Optimizing Antibiotic and Infection Control Practices,” underscores his commitment to addressing global health challenges.
Since 2015, Dr. Munther has been deeply involved in academia as an Assistant and later Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy across universities in Jordan and the UAE. Over the past decade, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervised numerous MSc dissertations, and published widely in international journals specializing in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, and Therapeutics.
With two decades of professional experience spanning hospital practice, research, and higher education, Dr. Munther brings to AUIB a strong dedication to innovation, academic excellence, and impactful scholarship.
