Dr. Amr Abdelaziz Aly Saad
Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry
Before joining AUIB in Iraq, Dr. Saad has served as an Assistant Professor of Preventive and Operative dentistry and academic course director of Operative and conservative Dentistry at multiple reputative dental schools in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and currently classified as a Consultant of Restorative Dentistry in both; SCFHS, Saudi Arabia , and the Egyptian Dental Syndicate.
In 2018, Dr. Saad earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Dental Sciences from the Department of Cariology and Operative Dentistry at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan. He also completed advanced clinical training of Restorative Dentistry at the Tokyo Medical and Dental University Dental Hospital from 2016-2018.
He has multiple international publications in adhesive and preventive dentistry, his current research focuses on mechanical and optical properties of resin composite restorations, and enamel/dentin remineralization.
