Based on an impressive track record of scientific publications, remarkable number of citations, and a successful career in teaching chemistry, physics, and mathematics at reputable universities, distinguished researcher and faculty member at the American University of Iraq-Baghdad (AUIB), Dr. Mutasem Sinnokrot, earns a promotion to Associate Professor.

With a total of 5130 citations of scholarly work, as of August of this year, and over 35 scientific articles and conference papers published to date, one of which received more than 1500 citations (placing it among the top 0.05% of the most cited papers worldwide), Dr. Sinnokrot boasts an impressive track record as a researcher. As a teacher, he had successfully supervised a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Khalifa University, where he had also earned teaching awards, notably from the university’s reputable Petroleum Institute.
