A delegation from the Computer Directorate – Operations Department under the General Staff of the Iraqi Army, accompanied by representatives from the Defense University for Military Studies, the Military Intelligence Directorate, the Information Systems Directorate, and the Cybersecurity Directorate, visited the American University of Iraq – Baghdad (AUIB).

The visit featured in-depth discussions on the framework of a future collaboration agreement, highlighting AUIB’s role in transferring global quality standards and academic expertise to support the development of government institutions. Both sides explored potential avenues for academic and technical cooperation aimed at advancing institutional performance and digital transformation.

During the visit, the delegation toured AUIB’s state-of-the-art campus, including smart classrooms, advanced laboratories, and modern teaching facilities that embody the university’s commitment to integrating technology and innovation into a comprehensive learning environment.

This visit reflects AUIB’s continued commitment, through the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development (CEID), to strengthening partnerships with national institutions and supporting initiatives that foster institutional development, digital capacity building, and national progress.
