The newly opened College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at the American University of Iraq-Baghdad (AUIB) organized an Open Day event, where it received students interested in the College, along with their parents.
AUIB President, Dr. Michael Mulnix, welcomed the guests to campus and spoke on the University’s founding and development, outlining AUIB’s ambitious plans for expansion and the establishment of new colleges and programs. In her turn, Dr. Allison Webster-Giddings, Dean of CoE&HD, introduced her college and its curriculum, which is developed and delivered in partnership with Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development, a top-ranking college in the United States.
AUIB’s visitors were engaged in an educational game and taken on a tour of campus before visiting the University’s Enrollment Center, where questions were answered and aid was given on the process of admission to CoE&HD.
