The American University of Iraq-Baghdad (AUIB) hosted an Iftar banquet attended by ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions in Iraq. AUIB’s President, Dr. Michael Mulnix, and university leadership received the delegations on campus, welcoming this visit that strengthens the university’s relationships with international partners and Iraqi government collaborators.
Topics related to academic and cultural exchange programs were discussed that contribute to developing the scientific and academic levels of students at AUIB in many fields, in addition to discussing partnerships with several countries that support the process of developing higher education inside Iraq through study exchange programs and academic opportunities.
This Iftar was part of a series of Ramadan events that the university organized to strengthen cooperation with international, governmental, and private entities to broaden student experiences and faculty sharing of expertise.
