Prof. Zac Morse

Associate Dean of College of Dentistry

Professor Zac Morse is the Associate Dean of the College of Dentistry at AUIB. With over thirty years of international experience in dental education, research, and clinical practice across multiple continents, he brings a unique global perspective on higher education. Professor Morse earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Australia, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Nippon Dental University, Japan, along with various other dental qualifications. 

Before joining AUIB, he held the position of Professor of Oral Health at the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, with previous appointments as an Associate Professor at Nippon Dental University in Japan and the Fiji School of Medicine in Fiji. He possesses extensive experience in and is passionate about advancing research capability development, supporting students and early-career researchers, while promoting interdisciplinary collaborations to promote innovative approaches to education, research, and practice. 

He has lived, worked in, and been exposed to a highly diverse range of environments, cultures, and languages. These experiences have shaped his personal, cultural, and academic identity, which he now shares at AUIB.
