Prof. Nadim Mansour Mokbel

Is a Doctor in Dental Surgery, graduating from Saint Joseph University (Lebanon) in 1991. He earned a Master of Science in Periodontology from the Eastman Dental Institute (UK) in 1994 and completed a PhD in Periodontology at Saint Joseph University in 2012. A prominent academic and clinician, he served as Head of the Department of Periodontology (2011–2017) and led postgraduate studies in the field (2017–2019). He remains an active faculty member and holds key roles within the university, including Delegate of the Dean to Clinical Affairs and member of its Ethics, Publication, and Continuing Education Committees. Pr. Mokbel is the current President of the Lebanese Society of Periodontology (LSP), its former Scientific Coordinator, and serves as its ambassador to the European Federation of Periodontology. He was also President of the Scientific Committee of the Lebanese Dental Association (2023), and is an ITI Fellow, and former Director of the ITI Beirut Study Club (2018–2023). A Fellow of the International College of Dentists, he has authored numerous publications and reviews for leading journals such as the *Journal of Periodontology*, JOMI, and IAJD.
