Pre-clinical and Clinical Instructor in Restorative Dentistry
Dr. Tabarek Challoob is a pre-clinical and clinical instructor in Restorative Dentistry at the American University of Iraq, Baghdad (AUIB). She teaches across the pre-clinical and clinical years, delivering core courses in prosthodontics, operative dentistry, and periodontics. Her teaching philosophy integrates evidence-based learning with practical clinical training to prepare students for modern dental practice.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Science (MSc) in Restorative Dentistry from Ajman University in the United Arab Emirates, graduating with distinction as the top of her class and receiving the Best Scientific Research Award for Postgraduates (2023). Before joining AUIB, she served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and as a Research Assistant in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ajman University.
Dr. Tabarek is currently pursuing her PhD in Oral Health, Profession, and Care at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. Her doctoral research focuses on prosthodontics, implant rehabilitation, and digital dentistry, particularly in clinical innovation and the integration of emerging technologies in restorative workflows.
Her research contributions span collaborative projects across the UAE, UK, and Iraq, addressing topics such as digital and implant prosthodontics, micro-CT evaluation, artificial intelligence in dentistry, and innovation in dental education. She has presented and published her work internationally and continues to contribute to the advancement of modern digital dentistry in the Middle East region.
