Dr. Suheil Khoury

Professor in Mathematics

Dr. Suheil Khoury holds a Ph.D. He earned a degree in Applied Mathematics from Michigan State University, where he received a Teaching Award. He also earned two master’s degrees from Stanford University—one in Scientific Computing & Computational Mathematics, and the other in Mathematics.

His research spans a wide range of areas, including boundary-value problems, mathematical fluid dynamics, computational mathematics, solitons, and fractional differential equations.

Dr. Khoury has supervised several senior projects and master’s theses. He is a recipient of the Shoman Prize in Mathematics and has received multiple “Top Teacher” awards at the American University of Sharjah.

In addition to his teaching and research, Dr. Khoury has served in leadership roles on departmental, college, and university committees. He also contributes to the profession as a reviewer and editorial board member for various international journals.
