- Experience in planning, implementing and organizing various major events such as Gala Dinner/ Annual Dinner, Workshops, Conferences, Exhibitions and Global Day.

Hussam is serving as the Director of Career Services , where he leads a dynamic team dedicated to guiding individuals toward fulfilling and successful professional paths.
Before joining AUIB, Hussam worked for international companies over 26 years in Jordan and the UAE in different fields including airlines and the higher education.
With over 15 years of experience in student affairs, alumni, development and career services at the higher education in MENA & Gulf region. Hussam had the opportunity to witness firsthand the transformative power of strategic career planning and mentorship. His journey began with a deep-seated passion for helping others unlock their full potential and navigate the complexities of the modern job market with confidence.
Hussam attended many major courses and obtained certificates such as Dangerous goods, PMP, KPI, Etiquette and Protocol, CSR and sustainability and others. Therefore, he was able to establish new offices and help in restructuring others. Moreover, he was able to implement major events such Gala dinners, Global Days, Conferences, International trips and others.
In his role, Hussam oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive career development programs and services designed to meet the diverse needs of students and eventually alumni. From resume building and interview preparation to networking strategies and job search tactics, he is committed to providing individuals with the tools, resources, and support they need to achieve their career goals.
Hussam graduated from the University of Wollongong in Dubai with a masters degree in international business in 2006.
