OPAC

OPAC stands for the Online Public Access Catalog. It is the Library catalog where the bibliographic metadata of AUIB library books in print and digital formats are stored. Patrons who are interested in searching the Library print collection should use the “Search all AUIB collection” in the Library home page. This search option incorporates the whole library collection including the print books which are available for physical borrowing. To restrict the search result to the print books only use the “Refine this search” on the left side of the screen by selecting “print book” from the “Format” delimiter. The Library system that AUIB is using Called WS (WorldShare Management Services) developed by OCLC (Leading International organization in the field of Library services). In addition to searching AUIB holdings, using this system allow patrons to see search results from OCLC subscribed Library catalogs in the region and worldwide (OPAC).
