Dr. Houssein Wehbe

Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Dr. Houssein is an Assistant Professor at the American University of Iraq – Baghdad (AUIB), College of Arts and Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Rennes 1 in France. Since 2011, he has taught Computer Science courses at institutions such as ESIR-Rennes, Mines-Telecom/Telecom Bretagne, Lebanese International University, Rafik Hariri University, and Lebanese University, covering topics like Computer Networks, Operating Systems, and Cloud Computing. Certified as an AWS Solutions Architect and as a Cisco instructor, he is qualified to teach Cisco Networking Academy courses.

Dr. Wehbe has also worked as a researcher and developer at Orange Labs and Mines-Telecom/Telecom Bretagne. His research interests include large-scale distributed networks, peer-to-peer networks, context-aware systems, inter-media synchronization, and quality of service in communication systems.
