Dr. Doris Jaalouk brings a wealth of expertise in cell biology, public health, and human physiology. She holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the Université de Sherbrooke, Canada, as well as an M.Sc. in Human Physiology and a Master of Public Health from the American University of Beirut.
With a distinguished career in academia, Dr. Jaalouk has taught an extensive range of biology courses, from general biology and cell biology to specialized subjects in human physiology, catering to students across all levels. Her teaching portfolio also includes health sciences courses that explore health awareness, contemporary health challenges, and public health fundamentals, enriching the learning experience of both majors and non-majors.
Dr. Jaalouk’s research spans key areas in cardiovascular biology, mental health, and nutrition, with her work published in prominent regional and international journals.
