Dr. Ahmed Abyad
Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics
Dr. Ahmed Abyad is an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a PhD in Restorative Dentistry from Beirut Arab University, Lebanon, as well as an MSc in Biomaterials from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
He has contributed to several innovations in dentistry, including the formulation of novel dental filling materials and the design and development of optical components and high-precision dental magnification devices.
Dr. Abyad employs innovative teaching methods in courses such as dental anatomy, operative dentistry, and dental materials. With over ten years of teaching experience, his academic and clinical work focuses on minimally invasive restorative techniques, as well as microscopic and digital dentistry.
Dr. Abyad lectures nationally and internationally on topics related to biomaterials science, restorative dentistry, and dental magnification.
