Position Overview:The Social Media Coordinator will manage and enhance AUIB’s social media presence across various platforms. This role is integral to our communication strategy, aiming to increase engagement, brand awareness, and promote the university’s programs, events, and achievements. The ideal candidate will be creative, tech-savvy, and passionate about using social media to connect with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, videos) for AUIB’s social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
• Community Management: Monitor and respond to social media interactions, comments, and messages, fostering a positive and engaging online community.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to support university events, programs, recruitment, and other strategic initiatives.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports on growth, engagement, and ROI to inform strategy.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with AUIB’s brand voice, values, and visual identity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communications team, academic departments, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep AUIB’s social media presence innovative and relevant.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in social media management, preferably within an educational or nonprofit setting.
• Skills: Proficient in social media platforms, content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite). Strong writing and communication skills.
• Language: Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Personal Attributes: Creative thinker, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
