Job Summary: As a Business Applications Analyst, you will manage the daily operations of Oracle Systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance. Your role encompasses user support, system configuration management, and the implementation of enhancements to business rules. You will oversee user access and conduct system audits for data integrity and security. Collaboration with technical teams is crucial for addressing system issues and implementing upgrades. Additionally, you will maintain key documentation, conduct training sessions, and support end-users to optimize system use. Your responsibilities also include testing updates thoroughly in a test environment before production deployment to ensure system stability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.  Oversee the daily operations of the Oracle Systems, ensuring smooth functionality in the
following areas:
1. Providing user support
2. Configuring and maintaining existing customizations,
3. implementing modifications to enhance business rules using system tools
4. Managing user access permissions
2.  Conducting routine system audits to uphold data integrity and security standards.
3. Collaborate with support providers and technical teams to address system issues promptly and
execute upgrades and patches effectively.
Maintain comprehensive system documentation, encompassing user guides, technical and functional
specifications, and training materials.
5. Deliver training sessions and offer ongoing support to end-users, fostering understanding of the
application functionalities and promoting best practices.
6.  Conduct thorough testing of updates within the test environment before deploying them to the
production environment.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in business analysis, with a demonstrated ability to gather  stakeholders’ business
requirements and draft the related functional specifications document.
3. minimum 3 years of similar work experience, preferably in an academic environment.
4.  Knowledge of SQL and database management concepts for data querying and manipulation and
particularly in Oracle databases.
5.  Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) Advantageous
Skills:
1.  Understanding of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules, including Student Records,
Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Advisement, Student Financials, and other relevant modules.
2.  Experience in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting within the Oracle
PeopleSoft environment.
3. Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft tools such as Application Designer, Component Interface, and
Application Engine.
4.  Familiarity with academic software would be a plus, i.e. learning management systems (Canvas).
