    • In person, simply by making an appointment with the President’s Office
    • Online, using AUIB’s secure online gift form
    • Stock or securities
    • Gifts in-kind (land, property and more) by calling the President’s Office
    • Time and talent: There are many ways to volunteer and deepen your ties to AUIB. Give us a call and we’ll explain.
  • Will I receive a receipt?
    • Absolutely. All gifts receive a receipt. And if your gift is channeled through the United States, your gift is tax deductible. Call us and we’ll explain!
  • What is a planned gift?
    • A planned gift (also known as “deferred giving”) is simply a decision by a donor to make a future gift to AUIB in lieu of an immediate gift now. Such gifts are commonly funded with cash, equity, or property.
    • Planned gifts are often made through an estate or retirement plan.
  • Can I give my gift in memory or honor of someone?
    • Absolutely! This is a common practice and allows you, for example, to honor a loved one and at the same time provide AUIB with much-needed funds for on-going excellence in programs and research.
  • Can I give a gift and name a space, scholarship or even a building at AUIB?
    • Again, this is commonly done at colleges and universities worldwide. Business and engineering schools, libraries, student centers and athletic facilities are often named in honor of a donor. There are also named professorships that honor a donor for many years to come. Call us and we’ll explain!
  • Can I make an anonymous donation to AUIB?
    • Yes, this is often done to protect the identity of a donor.
  • Can I create an endowment at AUIB?
    • Yes, indeed you can. An endowment allows a donor to create a permanent legacy at AUIB whereby only the interest (never the principle) of the gift is used for the specific program designated by the donor. An endowment allows the gift to continue for years.
  • Will my gift really make an impact at the University?
    • Without question, it will make an impact on the lives of AUIB students and faculty. Not-for-profit institutions of higher education rely to a significant extent on private funding of projects and facilities. Tuition covers only a small part of the funding needed to build an outstanding university. Your gift truly does matter!
